Irma update

Hurricane Irma continues to be a powerful cat 5 hurricane, with winds of 175 mph and higher gusts. You can find the 10:00 a.m. CDT updated track map below. You can also see that hurricane watches have now been posted for southern Florida. Storm surge watches, a new product being used this season, are also in effect for the coastal regions of south Florida. On this path, the storm would  impact those of us in East and Middle TN, though with only some rain and breezy conditions. The tornado threat, with this track, would be in North Carolina and Virginia. I also found a predicted power outage map. You can find that below.
