I hope everyone is having and will continue to have the merriest of Christmas Eves! Keep your eyes open for some snow flakes throughout the day! I’m not sure we’ll see any accumulation, though a dusting tonight could be possible. I definitely don’t foresee any travel problems. It will be a breezy day, so that temperature hanging out in the 30s will feel several degrees colder.
The next system of interest comes in around Thursday. Some models have most of the moisture going to our south, others have it right in our vicinity. Temperatures will be cold enough that we would have to be concerned with wintry precip. I’ll keep watching it and I’ll let you know as soon as things look more clear with that system. Just something to keep in mind, at this point, if you have plans for the end of the week.
If you’re wondering where all the good snow is for Christmas, I’ve got ya covered. Here’s the latest model run from the RAP model for snowfall accumulation for Christmas Day.
