Record for this date

I meant to mention this in Sunday morning’s blog update and forgot to. Today is the anniversary of the coldest temperature ever recorded in Crossville. On this date in 1985 we dipped all the way down to -25 degrees at the Crossville Experiment Station! The airport recorded -21.  That makes this last arctic blast we had look like nothing!

Other records for January 21, 1985 include:

Nashville: -17

Allardt: -27

Carthage: -17

Celina: -20

Cookeville: -22

Lebanon: -20

Livingston: -25

Smithville: -24
