The NWS has cancelled the winter weather advisory that was set to expire at midnight. The snow has moved out of the area, with only lingering flurries or a possible snow shower left for the rest of the evening. Be careful on area roadways tonight and in the morning, as today’s rain and this evening’s light snow have left the roads wet. With temps dipping well below freezing tonight, there could be some slick spots develop. However, significant travel issues are not expected.
Much better weather is in store for us for Friday, though temps will be quite chilly.
