At 9:30, storms are just beginning to approach the Cumberland Plateau. Soon, we’ll be able to see lightning off to our west. These storms contain a lot of lightning, some heavy downpours of rain, and gusty winds. We are still under the threat for isolated damaging wind gusts with these storms.
There have been no tornadoes reported in Tennessee and no significant reports of severe wx that I can find. Never the less, we can’t let our guard down until these storms have passed.
Right now, the storms look a bit messy on radar. There is no distinct solid line of storms. This is causing some of the storms to struggle, as they interact with each other and mess with each other’s storm environments.
I’ll be watching it all until the threat has passed.
