Don’t be fooled by this beautiful early-morning weather, folks. A “cold front” is entering Middle Tn this morning and it will move east as we go through the morning. As the sun warms us up, instability will increase. That instability will lead to scattered showers and storms later this morning and into the noon hour. Some of these storms could be strong (briefly severe?), so keep that in mind. Thankfully, widespread severe weather is not expected. The front should clear out of here by early afternoon. Once the front passes, humidity levels will drop and we’ll be set for a very pleasant evening and night.
This pleasant weather will stick with us through the first half of the work week, with low humidity levels and temps in the 70s. Overnight lows will fall into the 50s. That’s not too bad for June!
