One need only look to the west to see the weather for our evening and night. Another batch of rain will move in and some of the rain will be heavy. It looks like we could easily pick up an inch or two of rain tonight, so please be careful if you’re out driving after dark.
The current radar shows a building line of showers and storms between Nashville and Memphis. All activity is moving east.
The National Weather Service just issued a statement saying that they have confirmed that yesterday evening’s tornado-warned storm produced an EF-0 (85 mph winds) in Cannon County. This is the first time Cannon County has ever had a tornado in the month of September.
I also want to apologize for the blog going out at 11:00. I accidentally hit the timer when I I was publishing it this morning and it didn’t go out for 2 more hours. My Monday is hitting a day late. ha
