Watching a band of snow

We’ve been seeing lots and lots of itty bitty flurries around out there this afternoon! The temp has now dropped to 29 degrees, we should be seeing a few things get a bit white as we go through the rest of the day. No travel issues are expected and that is why we still have no advisories.

I have been watching a band of snow move across western KY. It seems to want to develop a bit farther south, so folks north of Jamestown may get  a good burst of snow showers out of this. I have seen bands like this expand a bit and develop farther south when they interact with the plateau. If that should happen, we may see more snow showers around the 4:00-5:00 time period. I’m still expecting a dusting, at most.
