Have a good evening

I just wanted to let you all know that I will be doing another update later on this evening to give you the latest on the winter weather event coming for this weekend. As of now, it still looks like folks north of a line from Jamestown to Livingston are at the highest risk for a Saturday night icing event (ice storm?), while the rest of us get cold rain. However, if this low shifts just 30 miles south, we’re all looking at ice Saturday night. Stay tuned.

I still think the most likely scenario is that most of us get cold rain Saturday night, followed by a changeover to all snow sometime Sunday. That snow will accumulate as it stays with us Sunday night, Monday, and ends sometime Monday night.  A few inches of accumulation are certainly possible.

We can’t dismiss the possibility of a light wintry mix anytime Saturday, as well.

I’ll have an update later this evening!

You all take care!
