Wettest year on record?

The NWS Nashville just released this statement, “After today’s rainfall, Crossville has measured a whopping 73.83″ of rain so far in 2018. This makes 2018 the 2nd wettest year on record, and just under the wettest year ever of 74.36″ set in 1973. With more rain expected Sunday & Monday, it’s very likely that the yearly rainfall record for Crossville will be broken!”

Since we will easily pick up another inch or two of rain before this year is over, it looks like 2018 will be the wettest year EVER for the Cumberland Plateau!

  1. Very interesting and I’ve lived it as I’ve tried to get outside projects done.

Any idea what the average is? Standard deviation?
