Wintry precip is now approaching the plateau. With temps now in the mid 30s area-wide (and falling!), this precip you see on radar will be a wintry mix to snow. Light snow is expected to whiten the plateau by Sunday morning with a dusting to one-half inch of snow. You all be safe on the roads in the morning if you must travel.
Bitter cold temps will be the rule on Sunday, with temps staying in the 20s and a stiff north breeze. Bundle up! Temps Sunday night will be around 10 degrees. Skies will be clear, making the viewing of the lunar eclipse ideal.
We have more wintry weather chances next week, so be sure and stay tuned!
Below is the current radar, showing wintry precip moving onto the plateau.
For those of you who can’t see radar movies, I’ve included a still image below.
You all have a great evening! Be sure and look for your Sunday Story in the morning!
