The cold front has cleared Nashville and they are currently falling through the 40s. Clarksville is already 35, with mixed precipitation falling. The heaviest rain is moving off the plateau at this hour.
That precip you see west of Nashville, on the radar image below, is mixed wintry precip and that is what we’ll have to watch out for later tonight. I think roads, etc will be fine through at least 10:00 pm. However, as much colder air starts settling in after midnight, travel could become tricky. Any place there is still water on the roads from today’s heavy rainfall could become a slick spot. Temps by daybreak should be in the mid 20s.
