Rain will be with us for the rest of the evening and into the night, along with a rumble or two of thunder, but the severe threat has passed us by this go around. Even folks out west seem to have really dodged a bullet. The morning rain with that warm front stabilized the airmass over a large portion of the area most at risk for severe weather today. Thank goodness for that slow-moving warm front!
Again, rain will continue and you will need to be careful on these wet roads if you must travel this evening.
