The severe threat has now ended for Cumberland and Fentress counties and all counties to our west. Scott, Rhea, and Morgan counties are dealing with the rough weather now and some warnings are now being issued.
We dodged a bullet, though it was quite intense here at the house as that main line passed through.
Expect gusty winds the rest of the day but we should see improving conditions this morning, with some sunshine even possible. That sun could destabilize the atmosphere enough to lead to more storms this afternoon with the passage of the cold front. The main threat with these storms would be hail.
