The line of storms are now moving through Cookeville, with gusty winds and heavy rainfall. I’m calling them storms but it’s hard to even detect any lightning at this point. It really looks like we’re dodging another bullet.
It’s not always the case, but typically when storms arrive at this time of day they tend to struggle to pack a punch. Still, we have had early morning tornadoes before so we always take these situations seriously.
I’ll let you know when the line has passed the plateau.
