It may be the first day of May but Ma Nature thinks it’s June. The official hurricane season starts on June first, but there’s already an area of disturbed weather the National Hurricane Center is watching. It’s unlikely that it will develop into anything but it’s turning heads for being so early.
The official hurricane forecast for this season calls for a slightly above normal year.
