There’s not much out there right now, but that will change as we go through the day. These warm and humid conditions will combine with an approaching storm system to give us some scattered showers and storms today. Some of the storms could be strong, but the greatest risk for severe storms is well off to our west. Still, be mindful of the heavy downpours, lightning and gusty winds that could accompany the storms.
The latest convective outlook has the highest risk for severe weather well off to our west (yellow). We are only in the marginal risk.
I also want to say that my visit to Mrs. Carol’s Kindergarten class at North this morning was awesome! I’m sure I’ve created some mini meteorologists! That was the most fun I’ve had in a while!
I also had a kid of a certain parent I know tell me that, “Dad drives across flooded roads.” Really?? John Matthews…you’ll be hearing from me. (haha)
Never Never Never drive across flooded roads. Don’t be like John.
You all have a great day! 🙂
Below is the current radar, showing only isolated showers on the plateau at this hour.
