An interesting supercell in KY

A lone supercell has developed this afternoon in Kentucky. The Storm Prediction Center is considering a severe t-storm watch for folks in its path (red-circled area). This should not affect the plateau, but it is something for folks in southern Kentucky to watch as we go through the rest of the day. It has quite the impressive hail core, and it has started showing signs of rotation. I wouldn’t be surprised to see it be tornado-warned. Radar indicates that the hail is up to golfball sized.

Again, this should not affect the plateau but it is something for folks in southern KY to keep an eye on this afternoon.
