Heads up

Some of today’s storms could pack a bit of a punch. Just step outside and you’ll know there’s enough heat and humidity to fuel a good storm. Just be aware that storms could produce gusty winds, heavy rainfall, and some hail.

The NWS has just issued a severe t-storm warning for a storm in northern Bledsoe County. It will likely weaken before moving into southern Cumberland County, but be advised that the storm could still be strong when it moves in. Quarter-sized hail prompted the warning.

This is a very summer-like pattern and, like yesterday, some storms will briefly pulse up and become strong/severe before quickly fading back down. As always, and with any storm, please be careful with that lightning.
