The Storm Prediction Center just issued a mesoscale discussion (red-circle) for our area stating that they do not plan to issue a severe t-storm watch for our area. They expect most of these storms to stay below severe limits. They had this say, “Storms may produce a few instances of hail and strong wind gusts from middle through northeast Tennessee into southeast Kentucky next couple hours. The duration and overall magnitude of the threat is not expected to be sufficient for a weather watch.”
I think most of this will be out of here by about 5:30. I’ll keep an eye on it!
