The moon rises at 9:56 and I have a feeling it will be quite the treat! The moon is at 91% illumination. That means it will still be very bright. Go out and look eastward.
There was some lightning down toward Chattanooga but I think those storms have dissipated to the point that we will no longer see lightning for them.
Go out and see that moon, though! Don’t forget to think that 50 years ago at this time there were no human footprints on the moon. No American flag. No, “One small step for a man…..”
That would be changing in about 24 hours from now! (9:56 pm July 20, to be exact)
