One more thing to see tonight!

I’ve been out looking for meteors but that moon is really lighting up the sky. Still, keep looking! I did notice something else though……

You may notice two brighter “stars” to the right and left of the moon. The one to the right is Jupiter, it’s quite bright! The other one is fainter and to the left of the moon. That is Saturn. They form a path across the sky. They’re both about the same distance from the moon on either side.

On the map below, look for the moon’s position on August 10. Jupiter is to the west and Saturn is to the east. The map assumes you’re looking south at the moon.
