A lunch weather update full of good info

The radar is showing some spotty showers across the region. They sure aren’t much, but at it’s better than nothing. It still looks like a great many of us will stay dry today.

I’m also very happy to report that anyone who wants a Meteorologist Mark magnet can now pick one up at Plateau Office Supply at 51 4th Street in Crossville!!! This is the first location to have the magnets available. Stop in and pick one up while they’re still free! (ha)

If you work here at CHC just let me know and I’ll get you one.

The tropics are staying active. Tropical Storm Lorenzo has now formed in the eastern Atlantic. He’s a long way off, so we have plenty of time to watch him. Tropical Storm Karen appears to be struggling. Hurricane Hunters couldn’t find a closed surface circulation, but new storms firing off may indicate that one is still present. Karen is expected to continue moving northward, with a possible turn to the west at the end of the forecast period. She’s one to watch.

You all have a wonderful lunch and a great rest of the day!
