Rain continues to make its way across Middle TN. At this time, there are no lightning strikes showing up. In fact, I haven’t seen any lightning with this activity since it moved out of West TN.
The system is beginning to affect the western edges of the plateau now. Activity will continue moving east. We can be thankful that we’re avoiding a lot of severe weather with this system. If only one or two more ingredients had come together, we’d be talking about a completely different story here.
You all have a great rest of the afternoon. The Storm Prediction Center doesn’t plan to issue any watches for TN today. That’s very good news!
The current radar shows a heavy shower moving up the western edge of Cumberland County, while the bulk of the action is still just west of the plateau and about to move into western Putnam County within the hour.
Let’s just hope we get at least a half inch of rain out of this….
