The cold front has pushed well to our east, but this sunshine is really helping us out. The colder air is being slow to move in and that is giving us a pleasant afternoon. Winds have switched to the west but they have finally relaxed and aren’t nearly as gusty as they were.
Overnight low temps will drop to around 30 degrees tonight. That will give us a frosty Thanksgiving morning. A light north wind will keep us on the cool side for Turkey Day, with highs in the upper 40s.
The map below shows the cold front our east, with mild temperatures remaining in place behind the front.
We are so very lucky. Check this map out. It shows all the winter weather advisories, watches, and warnings. Thanksgiving travel is going to be a nightmare for some folks.
If skies remain clear, we may have a beautiful evening for seeing Venus and Jupiter again! We may even see a crescent moon with them. It could be quite the sight! I’ll send out a reminder.
You all have a great pre-Thanksgiving Wednesday!
