Many of you have probably seen your rain showers turn to snow showers by now. Temps are now in the low to mid 30s across the plateau. At times, the sleet and snow came down hard enough to cover the ground here at the north end of Cumberland County. However, with temps hovering above freezing it all melts as soon as the wintry precip stops.
Now that temps have cooled off more, the mixed precip is mostly all snow showers now. We should see those continue on into the evening. Some of us may wake up to a dusting of snow in the morning, many of us will not.
So, enjoy your snowflakes! At least we don’t have to worry about major travel probs, etc.
That gusty north wind is gonna be chilly! Those winds will be with us through the night. Make sure your outdoor pets have a dry place to get that is free of wind.
