7:45 am Friday Snow Update

*This is a special update. I’ll have a full morning blog update by 9:00 a.m.

WHAT: Light snow

WHEN: Now through noon

HOW MUCH: one half inch to around one inch areawide

Let it snow! (ha) It really is a pretty snow to watch fall. But, seriously, you all be safe out on the roads. I just drove to Crossville from Rinnie on Highway 127 North and the main roads are fine for now. That could change, so drive safely.

Temperatures across the plateau are in the 28-32 degree range, so pre-treatment of roads yesterday should be working good. Again, drive safe, just in case.

Radar shows plenty of light snow to come for our Friday morning. A winter weather advisory remains in effect through noon. Another round of light snow is likely tonight, with up to one half possible once again (maybe up to an inch for some).
