Weather Headlines

Some sprinkles and a shower today

Beautiful weather for Friday through Sunday

The next rain maker arrives Monday night

Main threats

No significant threats in sight.

Summary

Look for a chance for sprinkles and a light rain shower today. Otherwise, skies will be cloudy.

Temperatures cool off for tomorrow and it gets breezy but the sun will return. It will still be chilly, with temps in the 30s most of the day. Look for those dry conditions to persist through Sunday, highs in the 50s both Saturday and Sunday.

Guidance now suggest that Monday will be mostly dry, with rain developing later in the evening and overnight hours. That rain will be with us through at least Wednesday.

Next week is looking quite wet but I’ll fine tune that forecast as time goes along.

News

I had an absolutely wonderful visit to Christian Academy of the Cumberlands. What a great group of kids and teachers. We talked about the Bible verses that have been read in space and about Buzz Aldrin taking communion on the Moon. They learned all about severe weather safety and they even got to meet my Planetary Buddies.
