Baldwin’s View-of-the-Day
The International Space Station has a cupola that you can look out at the world on. What a view that must be and one that so many of us would give anything to see!
On this Earth Day, I thought I’d share a quote from Astronaut Tracy Caldwell, seen below, enjoying that perfect view. She speaks of what it’s like to look out that window.
“There’s nothing but space. That’s going to give you the ability to reflect back on this planet and actually be convinced that it is a planet, that it is enormous, that it is miraculous, and that it is worth preserving,” Caldwell said. “I spent a great deal of my time looking out the window in disbelief that I was there.”
Weather News
Yet another severe weather outbreak is on tap for the Southeast tomorrow. Once again, powerful long-track tornadoes will threaten the region. If you know anyone who lives from Mississippi to South Carolina (including northern Florida) please make sure they know about this severe weather threat for tomorrow.
