WHAT: A few strong/severe storms possible across the plateau
WHEN: Late afternoon/evening (3:00-9:00 pm)
I have some good news! The clouds are holding on tight and that is really helping to keep our atmosphere more stable. Let’s hope they continue to hold. Since short-term models were wrong and we haven’t seen the sunshine they forecast us to see, the Storm Prediction Center has now dropped us to the marginal risk for severe storms. This is an improvement from the slight risk we were at earlier.
I meant to share this in the morning update and forgot too! If I had shared it, it would have had my level of concern at the low end of the medium. Now, I’m in the upper end of the low. That’s a good trend!
Let’s stay weather-aware, especially from 3:00-9:00 pm. I’ll be watching it all!
