48-Hour Weather
Threats
Widespread severe weather is not expected through at least Sunday. Early next week, we may have some complexes of storms drop in from the northwest. Those could contain some severe t-storms, with damaging wind being the main threat. I’ll keep an eye on that as we get closer to that time.
Baldwin’s Severe Weather Concern
Any storm this time of year will contain deadly lightning, gusty winds, and heavy rainfall. Due to the isolated, short-lived nature of that activity in the coming days, my concern is on the low end of the scale.
As I mentioned earlier, we may have some storms drop in from the northwest early next week that could be on the strong side. That’s typically what we see with the coming pattern. It’s too early to know for sure that will happen, so I’ll keep an eye on that.
