WHAT: Wet snow of 2-3 inches
WHEN: After 9:00 pm, ending Sunday morning
I just wanted to hop on here and let you all know that the forecast is still on track, for the most part. The only adjustments are to the timing, which has been bumped up a bit.
It continues to look like many of us will see at least a couple inches of snow tonight and in the morning, with some folks even getting upwards of 3 inches or so. It all depends on how quickly the snow can start accumulating. We have a cold ground, but we’ll still need temps to drop to 32 degrees for it to accumulate. I think we’ll see that by around 9:00 pm. This is a two hour change from this morning’s update.
The winter weather advisory goes into effect at 9:00 pm. Earlier, the start time was listed as 6:00 pm by the NWS.
Roads should be fine until about 9:00 pm or so.
This will be a very wet snow, so it should lay on the trees and make for a very pretty scene.
My confidence is slowly increasing.

You all take care and I’ll keep you updated through the evening.
Love a wet snow! Can’t wait to make some pictures and send to my Son in Jacksonville. Every time we get snow he wants pictures. He loves the snow! ❤️ Thanks For All You Do Mark To Keep Us Informed! You are The Best
You are more than welcome, Bobbie!
