Meteorologist Mark’s 5-Day Wx Concerns

Meteorologist Mark’s Wx Discussion
Winter’s brief return will be, well, brief. Unfortunately, I fear that a lot of tender, sprouting vegetation will succumb to the freezing temps tonight and especially tomorrow night. If the winds stay up, that will make the freeze far more impactful. It’s hard to even cover things up when the wind is blowing. Plus, if winds are calm, the coldest air settles into the colder spots, especially the low-lying areas, where cold air just sinks into. But, if it’s windy that cold air is dispersed all around and is far more impactful.
Tomorrow will feel like January. Windy and highs staying in the 30s….yikes.
However, next week is looking nice, with sunny skies and highs in the 70s.
