I hope you all are having a very good Good Friday! I wanted to let you know that the International Space Station is flying over at about 8:44 this evening. It will be visible for three minutes, as it sails across the sky. It will rise about 10 degrees above the northwest horizon, and set about 47 degrees above the northeast horizon. The current crew is pictured below.
On board are Kate Rubins, Victor Glover, Soichi Noguchi, Sergey Ryzhikov, Michael Hopkins, Shannon Walker, and Sergey Kud-Sverchkov.
Remember, the ISS does not blink. It looks like a big star, just sailing across the sky.
It’s a beautiful, albeit chilly, evening to watch the station go over.
I also want to say thank you to each and every one of you who follow the blog! I can’t believe I’m now at 11,535 followers! Thank you all so very much!
Also, don’t forget that I’ll be at Grinder House Coffee tomorrow! Bring that weather radio for me to program or just come to chat some weather! I’d love to see ya!
