Meteorologist Mark’s 5-Day Wx Concerns

A freeze warning is now in effect for tonight. Several house of sub-freezing temps are likely tonight.

Widespread frost is once again likely Thursday night, though that frost shouldn’t be as severe as Wednesday night’s.

Meteorologist Mark’s Wx Discussion

The only main concern this forecast period is the sub-freezing temps tonight. Temps will be a bit warmer tomorrow night but frost is still likely.

We will likely hear rumbles of thunder Saturday morning, but those storms are expected to remain below severe limits.

If I look beyond this forecast period and into next week….I see much warmer temps. We may even hit 80 degrees by Tuesday. But, with the warmth comes the threat of storms. That threat looks to come by midweek. I’ll keep an eye on that.

West Tennessee will see a bit more sunshine, as clearing skies slowly move eastward during the day. A few morning showers, possibly mixed with snow, can even be expected in the eastern part of the state.
