Check out those cooler temps! This cold front is really going to usher in a cooler airmass, so be ready for that!

Overall, things are looking pretty good with this forecast. After today’s rain, we should stay dry until the middle of next week.

Our region is in the marginal risk for severe storms today, as one or two storms could produce a damaging wind gust and small hail. Also, be aware that some of the storms could produce deadly cloud-to-ground lightning and heavy downpours of rain.

Sunshine returns for our Saturday for many of us. It’s a cooler day in the wake of our cold front, with highs only in the 60s! A few lingering clouds and showers will keep East Tennessee cloudy longer.
