Storms are off to an early start for our Thursday! A severe thunderstorm warning has sent many of our weather radios to blaring at this hour. There are not watches but there is this warning. That’s a potent storm and it is moving northeast toward Cookeville. At this time, it appears to be moving more toward Cookeville. Storms are moving northeast within this line.
On the radar below, I’ve highlighted Cumberland County.
Any of the rest of these storms could produce gusty winds, frequent lightning, and heavy rainfall as they move east and northeast this morning. I wouldn’t be surprised to see another warning or two issued with this line, so be aware of that.
