We’re seeing a few showers pop up across the plateau in the heat and humidity of this afternoon, especially across northern Cumberland County. Most of the moisture from Tropical Storm Claudette is certainly staying well to our south, but a few showers are wanting to develop on the plateau at this hour.
I haven’t seen any lightning just yet with any of this but that could change. Be mindful of this if you’re outside this afternoon.
This activity should dissipate by evening.
