Thunderstorms are overspreading the plateau at this hour and moving north, northeast. Be careful if you get caught out driving in the downpours. Some of the rainfall is quite heavy. Also, I’m hearing lots of thunder and seeing strikes on the lightning map. If you can hear it thunder, you need to be inside and being safe.
Current radar shows the thunderstorm activity quickly developing on the plateau. I circled Cumberland County.
If it all holds together, it looks like we’ll all get a good rain from this activity. Just be mindful of that lightning!
