Good evening, everyone. I just wanted to give a quick update on tomorrow’s storm potential. The threat continues to appear low, but certainly not zero. The best chance for stronger storms should be back around the Nashville area.
Tomorrow southwest flow aloft will return in the wake of the remnants of “Fred.” A disturbance within that flow will pass through tomorrow evening. Some models have been quite robust with thunderstorm development with this system, while others are more relaxed and probably even more realistic.
We’ll just watch the radar tomorrow afternoon and see what storms out west look like tomorrow afternoon. The Storm Prediction Center maintains the marginal risk for severe storms for our area tomorrow, so I’ll keep a close eye on things.
You all take care and have a great evening.
