MM News

The Bigfoot Festival is coming! As many of you know, I am the director of that festival. As we plan for the thousands who will come into town for this unique festival, the excitement is building! As many as 20,000 people are expected…maybe more! The festival is a charity event to benefit the United Fund of Cumberland County. The more people who show up, the more money we raise for our local nonprofits! Many of those nonprofits offer services that we’ll all likely need at some point in our lives. Mark those calendars for October 16th and plan to be at the Cumberland County Fairgrounds. Gates open at 9:00 a.m. For MUCH more information, please see!

Today’s Tennessee Weather

Partly to mostly cloudy skies will kick off our new work week, with a chance for a shower or thunderstorm, especially in the afternoon and evening. Afternoon highs will climb into the mid to upper 70s.

Tonight’s Tennessee Weather

Expect a warm and muggy Monday night, with areas of patchy fog. A shower or storm is also possible for mainly areas along and near the Cumberland Plateau and southeast Tennessee. Overnight lows will be near 60 degrees statewide.

Tomorrow’s Tennessee Weather

Look for a rainy and thundery Tuesday across the state. Some of that rainfall could be heavy. Rain and clouds will hold high temps in the mid to upper 70s.

As many of you know, I teach in Adult Education. This can give you the confidence and skills you need to thrive in college or whatever else your path may be. If you or anyone you know could benefit from our services, just let me know! And, of course, it can remain completely confidential. You just might end up with Meteorologist Mark as a teacher!

If not me, then I can assure you any of our teachers would be a wonderful source of help and encouragement!
