Friday: Partly to mostly cloudy, with a chance for an afternoon/evening shower or thunderstorm. Rain likely overnight.

Bigfoot Festival Saturday: Early morning sprinkle, then partly to mostly sunny skies! Cooler. Perfect festival weather!

Sunday: Mostly sunny and much cooler.

Monday – Wednesday: Mostly sunny and pleasant.

MM’s Wx Concerns

A strong cold front will bring gusty southerly winds to the area by Friday afternoon and evening. Rain and storms in the overnight could be strong, though severe weather is not expected at this time in our area.

1909- An F2 tornado strikes Coffee County, passing south of Wartrace and Manchester, and ending near Hillsboro. Six persons are injured. Many barns are destroyed. Overall, five tornadoes strike Middle Tennessee.

Today’s Tennessee Weather 

Partly to mostly sunny skies will be found across the state today, as afternoon highs climb into the low to mid 80s. A shower or two are possible across northwest Tennessee later today.

Tonight’s Tennessee Weather

There will be a chance for showers and thunderstorms across West Tennessee overnight. The rest of the state will see fair to partly cloudy skies. Overnight lows will be very mild across the west, dropping to around 70 degrees, with the rest of the state seeing mild overnight lows in the low to mid 60s.

Tomorrow’s Tennessee Weather 

A strong cold front will begin advancing into the state on Friday. That will kick off showers and thunderstorms, some of which could be strong to severe across West and Middle Tennessee. The front will arrive in East Tennessee in the overnight hours. Winds will be gusty from the south ahead of that front.
