First of all, I hope each and every one of you have had the best Thanksgiving! Just when I think I’ve had my last piece of pumpkin pie…… lol
I also want to say how thankful I am for you! You allow me to do what I love to do…tell everyone about the weather! Without an audience I’d be pretty bored sending myself blogs. LOL It’s much nicer being able to send these to 12,555 followers! đ
We all have much to be thankful for, that’s for sure.
As for the forecast…..
The rain showers that moved in around noon will be with us for several more hours. Temps will drop by about 9:00. A few snow flurries may even fly by your window as you sleep off today’s feast tonight.
If you head out shopping or hunting in the morning you better bundle up! Temps will be in the mid 20s, along with a bit of a breeze. Skies should gradually clear throughout the morning. Hopefully some sun by afternoon will make it feel a bit warmer. If any water is on the road in the morning be careful. With temps in the 20s, some of the wet spots could turn into slick spots.
Tomorrow is notoriously a big shopping day, of course. For those of us who prefer to do that at our keyboard, keep in mind that if you order from Amazon you can sign up for Amazon Smile. Then, a percentage of your cost will go toward your charity of choice! It doesn’t cost you a thing. I recommend Kids on the Rise, The United Fund of Cumberland County, or Creative Compassion, though there are others you may find at the site that you would rather support. I recommend supporting local groups. For more info on Amazon Smile, please see https://www.aboutamazon.com/news/community/how-to-sign-up-for-amazonsmile.
You all take care! Now, go get another piece of that pie!
