The well-advertised line of strong to severe storms is approaching the plateau this morning. A severe t-storm warning is now in effect for both Overton and Fentress counties until 7:15, as this line approaches. More warnings are possible as this line gets closer. Storms are moving at 50 mph and will be moving onto the plateau over the next hour or so. Damaging straight-line winds are the main hazard, though an isolated spin-up tornado cannot be completely ruled out. I’ll keep ya posted!
