Rain-cooled air has settled over much of the plateau, which will hinder t-storm development the rest of the evening. Those of you across the southern third of Cumberland County have the best chance for thunder this evening, but that should stay well under severe limits.
Another rain system moves in Wednesday night and that should be with us through Thursday, ending as some wet snowflakes Friday morning. At this time, I don’t foresee any impacts with that wintry weather, but I will keep an eye on it.
Another system moves in Saturday night and Sunday and that could be a wintry mix of all precip types, though details on that are quite uncertain. Perhaps I will get some interesting weather for my birthday on Sunday 🙂
Have you all noticed how often I mention my birthday is on Sunday? lol
You all take care and enjoy the rain! Listen, whether you enjoy it or not it’s still gonna rain, so you might as well enjoy it, right. 🙂
You all be safe out driving tonight. The roads will be wet and any heavier downpour will lead to ponding of water on roadways.
Also, my birthday is Sunday.
You all take care!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! (It’s on Sunday, I think)😘 Have a great day!
I wish you a very happy birthday on Sunday! Thanks for all you do for us all!
Happy Birthday week Mark!!! I am very thankful for all the posts and weather education you share with us. Today I was driving to work, and I saw the sun trying to peak through the clouds. I remembered what you have told us many times about sunshine heating things up and making things more unstable as storm systems come in behind them with cooler air. This inspired me to pray God’s cloud to cover and protect us. I’m so thankful He is above it all, no matter what happens, and a present help in times of trouble. You are a blessing Mark! I pray you have your best year yet!
