Things are looking for good us, folks. I’m becoming less concerned with each new set of data coming in. The morning rain, as is often the case, has really stabilized our atmosphere. We still can’t completely rule out a strong or severe storm, but the chances are declining.
Nothing of any significance is showing on radar and I’m not sure it ever will. There will be a focus for rough storms across western Kentucky and there are already rough storms down in Alabama and Georgia. Those two areas will likely rob our atmosphere of a lot of its energy.
Just keep an eye on radar is you have plans this evening. I’d give us about a 90% chance of getting through this storm threat without any incidents.
There are currently no watches or warnings in all of Tennessee. At this time, the Storm Prediction Center is not anticipating the issuance of any watches.
Regardless of storms, these winds are gusty! Be careful if you’re out and about.
Our next chance for storms may come Tuesday. Tis the season….
I’ll keep an eye on things and will let you know if anything changes.
