Just as the sun set, storms to our west began to weaken. Most guidance has always strongly suggested that would happen. We’re thankful to see that coming true! That trend will likely continue into the evening.
Winds will continue to be gusty as we go through the evening and the rain moves in.
On the radar below, notice the storms that were showing reds around Nashville have quickly transitioned to yellows on the radar. That’s due to the intensity falling off. There are currently no watches or warnings in Tennessee. The watch that the Storm Prediction Center had thought about issuing to our south is looking even less likely now.
I don’t anticipate having to update any more this evening but if anything changes I will. Otherwise, I’ll see at the morning update!
