12:15 Update

The radar continues to look rather tame. If you have a weather radio I would go to bed. A good weather app would suffice for now, as well.

The line ran into drier, more stable air here on the plateau and has struggled. Now, it’s not even one single line, but rather a big mess of line segments.

The best news is the winds have already died down considerably across much of the plateau and will continue to do so over the next few hours. The wind advisory officially ends at 1:00 a.m.

The severe thunderstorm watch officially ends at 4:00 but it will be allowed to expire long before 4:00 a.m.

I will update again in about half an hour or so.

Current radar shows a messy band of wind and rain moving across Middle TN. There hasn’t been a lightning struck in over an hour.
