Storms are struggling thus far and that is a good thing! BUT, we must keep in mind that unlike many events that we track from west to east, the more unstable atmosphere is east of the storms. In other words, they will encounter a more unstable atmosphere as they move closer to us. That destabilization maximizes over East TN. So, we should expect storms to become better organized as they near the plateau.
