Summary
The Storm Prediction Center is about to issue a severe t-storm or tornado watch for East Tennessee. It remains to be seen if this watch will include Cumberland and Fentress Counties, but I suspect it will. Already a tornado warning has been issued north of Knoxville. Storms are expected to increase in coverage and intensity over the next few hours. I’ll be watching it all! Don’t be surprised if you’re weather radios go off soon. Just make sure they’re turned on.
Keep in mind that this will likely not be a line of storms to track, but rather scattered storms throughout the afternoon. I’ll let you know when we’re in the clear.
